The question asked was: <strong>How do you think the country will be economically in six months?<\/strong> The answers were categorized as better than now, as good as now, as bad as now, worse than now, don&#8217;t know and no answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Worse than now received 40% of the responses compared to 13% of the surveyed population that responded better than now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"flourish-embed flourish-chart\" data-src=\"visualisation\/9225911\"><script src=\"https:\/\/public.flourish.studio\/resources\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">By including variables on age and political self-definition of the same population, the following results were obtained:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"flourish-embed flourish-chart\" data-src=\"visualisation\/9225912\"><script src=\"https:\/\/public.flourish.studio\/resources\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">We observe that, within the generations, a negative view of the future economic situation prevails. It is the zillenials or generation Z who have the worst appreciation of the future state of the economy for the next 6 months. Boomers are the most optimistic, with merely 17% of those surveyed having a positive view on the subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"flourish-embed flourish-chart\" data-src=\"visualisation\/9225913\"><script src=\"https:\/\/public.flourish.studio\/resources\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">The negative view also prevails when we shift the focus to the political position. Following the guidelines of the ruling party-opposition bloc, it is the latter who have the highest negative view, with 78.8% of respondents answering negatively. While those who are part of the ruling party have the most positive view of Venezuela&#8217;s future economic situation with 41%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">However, those aligned have a slightly more positive perception than the opponents with 11.8% and slightly less negative with 71.2% of respondents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sheet<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sampling unit<\/strong>: natural persons, both genders, over 18 years old, registered in the CNE Electoral Registry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>No. of interviews<\/strong>: 1,050 interviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Data collection<\/strong>: September 20 to 28, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Accuracy level<\/strong>: Sampling error estimated at \u00b12.5%, considering maximum variance and 95% confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sampling method<\/strong>: Systematic random with probability proportional to the number of telephone lines in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Instrument<\/strong>: Telephone interview, based on structured questionnaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Regional quotas<\/strong>: Central Region (Miranda, Dtto. Capital, Carabobo, Aragua and La Guaira): 34%; Western Region (Zulia, Lara, T\u00e1chira, Falc\u00f3n, M\u00e9rida, Trujillo and Yaracuy): 34%; Eastern Region (Anzo\u00e1tegui, Sucre, Monagas and Nva.
