From Frequency58, a survey was conducted to survey the public tendency regarding the level of confidence of the population in the Catholic Church. The question selected was: How much confidence do you have in this person or institution in its work for the welfare of Venezuela? The responses were measured in six initial categories, which are: a lot of confidence, some confidence, little confidence, no confidence, don’t know and no answer.

In general, 77% of the population has some degree of confidence in the Catholic Church for the welfare of the country:

Esparta): 14%; Los Llanos Region (Portuguesa, Guárico, Barinas, Apure and Cojedes): 12%; Guayana Region (Bolívar, Amazonas and Delta Amacuro): 6%.
