Frequency58 conducted a survey to find out the opinion of the population on the role or responsibility of the U.S. government on the state of the Venezuelan economy, specifically through the imposition of sanctions.
The question was asked for the first time in FEB20 and then again in NOV20, obtaining the following results:
When comparing, it was observed that: the reduction of those who agreed with the responsibility of the U.S. for the negative state of the Venezuelan economy from 35.6% (sum of strongly agree and somewhat agree) to 26%. However, the percentage of those who do not agree with such responsibility increased from 50% to 55%.
In the same sense, the number of people who say they do not know and do not know about it increased. This would tilt the balance toward the disagreeing side and diffuse to some degree the polarization over the role of the United States, but it does increase confusion on the issue.
