From Frequency58, a survey was conducted to assess the public tendency around equal marriage or marriage between same-sex couples in Venezuela. The question to be posed to the respondents was the following: For you, should the following situations be considered legal, legal in some circumstances, or illegal? The same was measured in the following categories: legal in any circumstance, legal in some circumstances, illegal in all circumstances, don’t know and no answer.
9% considered that it should be legal in all circumstances, 16% only in some circumstances, while 67% considered that it should be illegal in all circumstances.
When applying cross-sections to the participants, in terms of their religious beliefs and the generation to which they belong, the following results were obtained:
